We played a show at the Ramones Museum in Berlin on our European tour last month. They usually can only have acoustic acts play there because, ironically the nearby residents are pretty opposed to hearing loud fast-four-esque music blasting out of the place. We've never done any acoustic versions of arteries songs before so we needed to figure out a way to make a set work to fit with our surroundings.
The end result was all 6 members of the tour, ourselves and Jesse of The Slow Death, setting up our usual backline, turning down as low as we could and playing a mix of Slow Death, Arteries, Ssssnakes, Dead Milkmen, Ramones and even a Dee Dee King song.
Although it didn't feel anything at all like a regular show for us and we were unsure about how a lot of it should be played, how it would sound and how it would feel to stand there. The experience was a whole lot of fun and it sticks out as one of the best of the tour, mainly because it was so out of the ordinary which felt very refreshing. We recorded the set and now it's on our bandcamp page.
You can check it out HERE.
Thanks a lot ot Flo for having us at his place in Berlin. The museum is great and if you haven't already you should go see for yourself!
