our buddy luk 'el photo' shot some photos whilst we were playing in salzburg, austria the other night. it was a cool show and seemed like a really beautiful part of the world. unfortunately the only bits that we saw were the venue and petrol station due to a mega drive that we had to nail straight after we played. apparently there are loads of incredible lakes and mountains to check out, we're definitely going to go back and do that!

anyways, here are some of luk's photos;

we have been having a whole lot of fun on this here tour with Bangers. there have been a lot of retarded long drives due to retarded planning, too many moon lit sleeps and everything seems to be pretty consistently breaking/falling apart. but despite the glitches we're keepin' on keepin'on and are reveling in good times.

here are some photos that we've been snapping along the way...

i've been trying my best to film a load of shit too but i can't upload any of it to my computer right now, when i figure out how to do that i'm going to try and make a tour video of some sort. so far it will mainly involve failed skate tricks and live footage that is a bit too dark to view.

we drove for 5 hours to nantes today only to learn that the show had been cancelled. apparently it was because there was a rowdy night this gone saturday and the police showed up due to noise complaints. we looked at the listings and saturday's entertainment was an acoustic comedy act. weird.

nevertheless, we are having a good time, we checked out the skate park and went and got a bunch of beers. a friendly girl who is a friend of a friend has let us stay at her brothers apartment, i don't think he knows we are here!

so far so good, we've played 3 shows and 2 have been really fucking fun the other one was just ok but somehow the venue got us a hotel room which is great as we have been able to shower and pillage the breakfast buffet for future eating.

our good friend minty took a few snaps at the show in kingston on thursday night;

it was a whole lot of fun, Sauna Youth and Social Club were really fucking good! Foster of Pacer was also pretty entertaining throughout the night i wish i could quote him on here but i fear for his safety. thanks very much to microphone head for being a wonderful host.

last night we made a bunch of king of the road style challenges for the rest of the shows they include stuff like 'death metal song introductions' and 'YMCA dance bridge' hopefully Bangers will get lumped with all the embarrassing ones, fingers crossed! tonight we are playing in Le Harve, Fr, we are each going to try and pull of a cover song from 'Enema Of The State.' i'm not sure which song we're going to pick yet but the plan is to learn it in the van later today.

The official release date for the CD is October 11th. Dead Sea is also going to be released digitally and on LP via Paper And Plastic from January.

We are off on tour around europe with Bangers from thursday, all of the dates, as well as some new songs off the new record are up on our myspace page. Our friend Will Exely designed a tour poster for us. rhys has been busy screen printing a bunch of them, as well as some new shirts and a few other bits and pieces. as usual anything we have left over after the tour will be up for sale online in the SWFU shop but for right now you'll have to come out to one of the shows to get your hands on anything new.
